I was a little bit late yesterday since I had to take return bus ticket. The shower which was happening from past three days really annoyed me..especially while traveling.
I waited a couple of minutes for the end of first session that was happening in the main hall. After its finish, I assured my seat for the session to follow, from Danese Cooper. The session titled Trekking with White Elephants went very informative. It was all about the strategies that a Free Software developer/contributor have to look who are working in Free Software/Proprietary platform as a part of their job.
After the lunch, I again went back to the main hall for The Mozilla Project. Mitchell baker handled the session very well. She turned to be excellent especially during the QA (not Quality Assurance
) session. She replied to each and every questions which were about Mozilla Foundation’s strategies, the future of Mozilla project etc. in a precise manner. Among all the talks I have attended so far, I can say that she is one of the best presenters in this year of FOSS.IN.
Unfortunately, for the next talk, the main hall went empty in the sense only few audiences were present. Akonadi – Personal Information Unleashed handled by Till Adam and Volker Krause from KDAB was very special since Akonadi, which is one the promising feature of upcoming KDE 4 PIM applications as well as one of the the project which can be adopted into non-KDE environments, the birth of this particular project happened during FOSS.IN 2005.
Thats all. See you with the rest of updates from final day …
